[News] Olamide Speak On Controversial Song [Logo Benz]

Olamide has defended controversial song Logo Benz, following an outcry by Nigerians over its lyrics which is said to promote ‘yahoo-yahoo’ and ‘blood money.’
The singer took to his Twitter page to defend the song, saying it is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse of the state of youths in Nigeria.

He wrote;

Logo Benz is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse into the current state of youths in our society. (Runs girls x runs boys) “ I’m not sure if there’s anything like 2 much awareness, but pardon me if there is. It’s all over the news, it’s always been in movies, don’t box musicians.

The explanation did little to quell the negative reactions, as fans continued to point out that the lyrics of the song encourages ritual killings.
